ENCOURAGE YOUR CHILD TO FLY HIGH!
Your high-school age aviation enthusiast can discover
the exciting world of flight-at home or in the classroom-through
the EAA Young Eagles Aeroscholars online aviation courses.
These courses, available through the Aeroscholars
web site (www.aeroscholars.com),
provide in-depth learning-and even college credits! –
in an easy-to-use format.
The first course, Fundamentals of Aviation Science,
is recommended for high-school sophomores, juniors, and
seniors, can be considered for high school credit and also
provide students with two college credits on successful
course completion. A second course, Advanced Aviation
Science, awards three college credits. Students
who successfully complete both courses are prepared to take
the FAA Private Pilot written examination. Each course provides
students with an outstanding learning experience and increases
their science preparation for college. The courses also
provide students with awareness of the many career related
opportunities in the field of aviation.
The aeroscholars site provides 9 hours of online support,
